Understanding Our Refund Policy
All fees and payments charged by GoodGuyRx, including medication costs, membership fees, provider consultation fees, pharmacy fulfillment, and shipping, are final once checkout is completed and a licensed provider approves your treatment.
Once dispensed and shipped, prescription medication cannot be returned, resold, or reused under state and federal pharmacy regulations. Because we are not able to accept the product back, all dispensed prescriptions are sold as final sale. This is disclosed at checkout and in this policy.
When you check out, you are initiating a clinical and pharmacy process that involves real provider time, pharmacy resources, and fulfillment logistics. Because these services begin immediately and cannot be reversed, the associated charges are final.
Why Dispensed Medication Cannot Be Returned
State and federal pharmacy regulations prohibit prescription medication from being returned to stock, resold, or reused once it has been dispensed and shipped. These rules exist to protect patient safety, because once medication leaves a licensed pharmacy there is no way to verify how it was stored or handled. This restriction applies industrywide to every licensed pharmacy in the United States.
What This Policy Applies To
Dispensed prescriptions are final sale, including situations where:
You changed your mind after checkout
You no longer want or need the medication
You experienced side effects
You found a lower price elsewhere
You forgot to cancel your subscription before your billing cycle renewed
Your medication is in transit but hasn't arrived yet
You didn't open or use the medication
You're unsatisfied with your results
We understand these situations can be frustrating. If your medication isn't working the way you hoped, your provider may be able to adjust your treatment plan. Message them through your Patient Portal. They're the best resource for evaluating your progress.
What if I Was Never Prescribed Medication?
If a licensed provider reviews your intake and determines that treatment is not appropriate for you, you will not be charged for medication. No prescription is issued, no medication is prepared, and no payment is collected.
Once a prescription has been issued and your order enters fulfillment, all fees are final unless one of the situations listed under When Refunds Are Issued applies.
Authorization Holds
If you started checkout but didn't complete your intake, you were not charged. The pending amount on your statement is a temporary authorization hold from your bank, not a transaction. It will fall off within 5-10 business days automatically. No action is needed on your part.
Billing Errors
If you believe a billing error occurred, such as a duplicate charge, contact us through chat with your full name, email, and order details. We will investigate and correct any verified error promptly.
Damaged or Defective Medication
If your medication arrives visibly damaged, or if you have a concern about its condition or appearance, contact us through chat within 48 hours of delivery with your full name, order number, photos of the medication and packaging, and a description of the issue.
We will submit your order to the dispensing pharmacy for a quality review. The pharmacy holds the stability data and quality records for your specific lot and is the appropriate party to evaluate the product. If the pharmacy confirms a defect, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Please note that a melted gel pack or a package that feels warm on arrival is expected during shipping and is not on its own an indication of a defect. Insulated packaging is designed to buffer your medication against temperature swings in transit, not to keep it refrigerated door to door. Refrigerate your medication promptly on arrival.
